Premier Soccer League (PSL) champions, Mamelodi Sundowns have registered their new winter signings Tebogo Mokoena, Surprise Ralani, and Erwin Saavedra to be part of their CAF Champions League squad, which means that the trio will be available ahead of their clash with Al Hilal on this coming Friday.
The registration process allows all teams who feature in the competition to register a total of 40 players from the original 30 since the Covid-19 pandemic had started.
Sundowns signed Tebogo Mokoena from fellow Tshwane rivals Supersport United, Ralani was signed from Cape Town City and Saavedra comes all the way from Bolivian outfits, Bolivar.
The South American is yet to make an appearance for the DStv Premiership champions, following his recent arrival in South Africa.
Both Mokeona and Ralani have featured and made an instant impact on Sundowns. Ralani registered his first goal for the club on his debut against Richards Bay in the Nedbank Cup last 32 last week Friday, while Mokoena netted against Chippa United in a DStv Premiership encounter on Monday.
The Brazilians are set to kick off their CAF Champions League group stages campaign when they welcome Sudanese side, Al Hilal at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg.
