Cole Palmer has signed a new contract, penning an extension which will keep him at City until 2026. The attacking midfielder, who has been part of our Academy set-up for more than a decade, made his first team debut last September in our Carabao Cup win away at Burnley.
He followed that by making his Champions League bow as a substitute in our 3-0 group stage win at Marseille and has also featured on the bench in a number of Premier League fixtures.

Hailing from Wythenshawe, Cole enjoyed a superb 2020/21 campaign and was a key component of City’s Elite Development Squad which lifted the Premier League 2 title for the first time.
He also scored the winner in last November’s 2020 3-2 FA Youth Cup final triumph over Chelsea.
Reflecting on his new deal, the 19-year-old said he was thrilled to have committed his long-term future to the Club and says that he is determined to keep improving in the coming years.

“Obviously when I used to go to the park with them to play football when I was little, we used to always think of moments like this, so we are very happy,” he said.
