On February, Chairperson of commission of inquiry to investigate the allegations of state capture, DCJ Raymond Zondo and his team ordered for jail term for Former President Jacob Zuma.
This is after Zuma failed to appear before commission of inquiry, saying that Zondo is acting partial towards him. However, he must rescue himself before the commission.
In addition, the commission found this to be disrespectful to the Constitution of South Africa. They order ConCourt to issue jail term arrest of former president.

According to, SA Constitution a contempt of court’s punishment is maximum of 6 month jail term.
The contempt case against former President Zuma will be heard in the Constitutional Court on Thursday.
Commission want Zuma to be prisoned for 2 years.
