PIETERMARIZBURG | Former President Zuma on Wednesday has indicated his intention to lay a criminal complaint against state advocate Billy Downer.
In a tweet on Wednesday, the foundation said: “As indicated in court on 22/09/ H. E Prez (sic) Zuma will be laying charges against advocate Billy Downer for his conduct which is breach of Section 41(6) read with [section] of the NPA Act.”
The JZ foundation said more details around the laying of charges will be discussed on Thursday in Pietermaritzburg where they will be having a briefing with the media.
As indicated in court on 22/09/21, H.E Prez Zuma will be laying criminal charges against Adv Billy Downer SC for his admitted conduct which is in breach of sections 41(6) read with 41(7) of the NPA Act.

Last month, the national prosecuting authority dismissed claims made by the Former President Zuma that Advocate Dawner had leaked information including his medical records to the press.
Zuma is out on medical parole after he was convicted for 15 months for contempt of Court.
