The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has launched their local government elections manifesto and unveiled the party’s headquarters. The manifesto said to be the product of consultations with society.
EFF President, Julius Malema paid respect to Winnie Mandela. He said she did not surrender the fight to the white capitalists.

“The Launch of Manifesto is a signal of EFF taking power. It’s the history of political life in South Africa.
“We are here to launch the official manifesto of the EFF, based on truthful observation that our people are landless,” Malema said.
The president said many people in South Africa live without water, and electricity. Health system is dysfunctional, they want to deliver to the people through the manifesto they’re launching today.

“Instead of creating jobs, our municipalities gives tenders to corrupt government.
“Our Manifesto as based on non-negotiable pillars. With these pillars, we want to go beyond functionality of municipality but to help people of South Africa,” Malema said.
This manifesto, is a product of consultation with society.
“Security guards want to be treated as normal and permanent staff in municipalities.
“Our manifesto, is not a book of promises. It is a contract to deliver to our people. It is our commitment to the people of South Africa,” Malema said.

Malema said ground forces and all Members in all corners of South Africa must be rest assured that there will never be anytime where the EFF will be evicted from the Office because of failure to pay rent because they have their own the Head Office.
