Zandile Gumede corruption case and 21 others has been postponed to 30 November. The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has included additional charges against former eThekwini Mayor Zandile Gumede.
Gumede and her co-accused will now have to answer to racketeering charges in addition to more than two thousand corruption-related charges against them.
The NPA said it is confident in its case against the accused.

Meanwhile, that corruption case against former eThekwini Mayor Zandile Gumede and co-accused will likely start in July 2022, according to Durban High Court Judge Achmat Jappie.
The former eThekwini Mayor appeared for pre-trial proceedings at the High Court in Pietermaritzburg on Monday.
