Sinesfiso Zondi also known as Slay bhinca died after fleeing the restaurant without paying the bill with her friends, according to the waitress they package up the alcohol and left without paying the R10 000-rand bill.

The waitress from news café Wendy Zungu took it to social media that slay Bhinca, and her friends went out of the restaurant in Durban without paying their bill.

Wendy had no choice to try to locate Slay bhinca around and with no luck, they had already fled the scene, one of her colleagues told her she recognised Zondi from the group, and they can try to find her numbers on social media.

Zungu explained that she called the number and a male person answered and broke the news of the accident to her, she humbly sympathised with the family, but she explained what has happened at the restaurant and pleaded if they can come pay the bill as its above her wages.

This was not the first incident to happen of a customer leaving the restaurant without paying, but this bill was the first to be so high that she cannot pay it as expected by her boss.

The 22-year-old family took it to relate a press statement about the issue of the bill.

“It is true that Slay Bhinca and her fiancé were at News Cafe on the 28th of May 2022. And they were joined by their friends who had already established that tab. As customary. The cost would be handled by their friends who had invited them over. They left, knowing that the money had been paid so. We were taken aback when the waitress began pursuing clout for Slay bhinca and her fiancé.” the statement read.

The statement also explained that the family located the waitress and expect her to do another video about the issue.

“She will be recording another video in which she will justify her ignorance and negligence while making a defamatory allegation about slay Bhinca during the last Facebook live video she did. Approximately 12 hours ago.”

The statement, however, received backlashes from people hoping that the family did not threaten the waitress, after her last video has been removed from her Facebook.
