ActionSA leader, Herman Mashaba is calling upon President Cyril Ramaphosa to address the nation on Sunday (Tonight). Following issues that are unfolding from KwaZulu-Natal and escalated to Gauteng within a week.

He urged the president to make use of his address to the following factors, need to be attended urgently. The “Free Jacob Zuma” protests is taking place in KZN and Gauteng and looting taking place too.
- Announce the deployment of the SANDF to support law enforcement in the face of rising violence;
- Establish special courts to deal with this spate of violence quickly and decisively;
- Call for calm and condemn acts of violence & damage to public and private property;
- Make public the findings of the SIU report on Zweli Mkhize. “We deserve to know the depth of his involvement in the allegedly corrupt contract awarded by his department to Digital Vibes;”
Provide a clear plan for how the govt will turn around our failing vaccine roll-out programme!
The government needs to procure more vaccines on time, ensuring these are safe, and increase access to vaccines through more vaccination sites across communities.

The lawlessness in KZN and parts of Gauteng will continue to spread as long as it is met with weak, indecisive leadership that is more interested in managing factional ANC tensions than ensuing South Africa’s wellbeing.
“No nation can function, and no economy can grow, in a state of chaos and anarchy,” said Mashaba.
