Accused Shoba said he obtained this information from his cellmate who was in a neighbouring cell to Malephane last year.
The Magistrate said Shoba has the right to remain silent and not disclose his defence but if he does, that may be used against him.
Defence said in his statement that there are supporting affidavits. The witnesses don’t want their names to be read out in court.
Shoba has revealed events leading to Tshegofatso Pule entering the car.
