EXCLUSIVE I L&M Removals founder, Oscar Magudulele received backlashes on Twitter on Wednesday about his unfairly treatment towards his staff. This came up with exposure from one of his former employees, Kgothatso Masime who was the Client Relationship manager.

Pursuit Media SA has reached out to Kgothatso to ask her about the story regarding to her unfairly dismissal from L&M Removals, after she failed to uphold to one of the values of the company, which she has apologised.

According to Kgothatso, she was fired after she failed to arrive at the meeting early.

It shocks me all the time when I think about how Oscar Magudulela (Mr L&M) runs his business and just how he is a person. He comes here and tells you guys that he’s “creating jobs” when he hires and unfairly dismisses his employees every after three months. 🤔

“When you called me, I was on my way to Balekane but I had stopped at a petrol station to ask for directions and I was already. Luckily, I had asked Buyi to give her call and apologize for my tardiness. By the time I arrived at Design Quarter, it was already too late, and the lady had to leave for a meeting,” note from Kgothatso we read from their email conversation.

However, there is a plenty of people coming out on Kgothatso’s tweet, explaining the treatment they received from Magudulele.

We have learnt from Kgothatso that, she has never received a payslip from L&M Removals even at once. She further added that there was no UIF, but she had no problems with it because it was never deducted from her salary.

In addition, she said Magudulele still owes her commission for bringing the business to the L&M Removals.

She said, even some of the staff she found there, were also complaining about the poor treatment from Oscar.

“He used to tells us that he will fire us anytime because there are people out there, who are looking for employment,” said Kgothatso.

Kgothatso said she was not the first person to be fired in this manner, there is a lady who she was working with with, she had been fired the same way.

There is more to this story.

Lol Funny how I knew this and could tell by the way he posts parents etc and promotions and always feels the need to update us about his company, that to me was enough to see he is a Tyrant and to unfollow.

I was spot on https://t.co/vxFqcudFKz

So sorry Kgothaso that you and colleagues had to go through this. There are so many Labour law violations set out in your thread. All of which can be addressed at the CCMA. Should you be keen for legal assistance, DM me. https://t.co/cBQVeXQgwh

I think the worst part of it all is that he does that knowing very well that he isn’t even paying for his employees UIF. So you can’t even claim after the dismissal. You just have to sit there and accept it because he tells you “to move on”.
