Thabiso Sikwane aka DJ Fresh and his wife of approximately 20 years have spoken out confirming rumours of their split.
“Yes it’s a fact, we are heading for a divorce. We’re in the process. We’ve been at it for the past two years” said Thabiso.
It is no surprise that Fresh and Thabiso’s relationship has suffered many blows, one of which entailed of a child outside the marriage by Fresh and his manager Tsholo Mosaka. Most recently, the disc jockey and radio personality has been facing rape allegations that have landed him into some seriously hot water.
Prevalently, love alone has proved to be insufficient in keeping the pair together, however their bond stays strong as they have stated that they will remain friends and still do business.
“We’ve been separated most, if not all of lockdown and we are finalizing the finer details…”
Social media has come to support the unity in their decision, with many commending the civil nature and level of maturity in their announcement to get divorced.
