Aobakwe Rantao, born in Zeerust, staying at Gqeberha is a finalist in a pageant – FACE OF LORNA FOUNDATION 2022. Her journey started when she registered to be a participant and was placed in the finalist group.
The face of Lorna Foundation is a journey brand pageant for young people from disadvantaged communities that aims in transforming the definition of modeling and the role they play in our society.
All finalists are given tasks and required to complete them, before the big day (07 May), where each task is going to have the best task award on a final day during the crowning.
“It is not just about a pretty face, but beauty with brains is the key to winning the title Face Of Lorna Foundation 2022”, Says Aobakwe.
As the only participant from Port Elizabeth, she’s struggling to complete the tasks because of how busy she is at work but makes sure that at the end of the day she fulfills them.
is not just a model, but a qualified fitter, working at Port Elizabeth, because she enjoys mechanical engineering, & is trying her best to boost her confidence, by participating in this pageant. She’s been doing pageants since high school, but only won a few titles, because she said it’s a tough journey, where she’s met experienced models from all over.
The main event will be held at 130 PRICHARD ST, HILBROW JOHANNESBURG, 2001 at 10h00 in the morning.
Tickets are sold only for R100 if you purchase from Aobakwe, and for R120 if you purchase at the door. “Your support will be highly appreciated”, says Aobakwe. “Find me on Facebook ‘Aobakwe Precious’. I’m not expecting to win but I promised myself to try my best to complete all the given tasks as they have the final score for the finale and also try the best I can do on stage.
I know it’s a tough world, I’ll be meeting beautiful girls who won tons of previous titles before, but I’ll put my effort in as well. Good work pays off after Aobakwe all” she concludes.
