Papa was born and bred in the small town of Kagiso extension 12 and embarked on the journey of beauty pageants in 2017. She has since claimed 8 tittles throughout her career in modeling.
“I could not believe that I won the pageant as I was a little distracted during the announcement hence the tears when I was crowned Miss Gauteng Exclusive,” Papa said.
The third-year communication student at the University of Johannesburg has set a clear record that modelling is not only about beauty and fashionable clothes, but also about the intellectual aspect too.
The 19-year-old has ventured into a lot of careers such as acting, modelling teacher and a founder of an NGO called Mosa Simpiwe foundation and MS Academy: “The Ngo focuses on all things that are an act of giving back, I give young people knowledge and career guidance,” Papa said.

Miss Gauteng Exclusive says that she also takes into consideration that not everyone is academically gifted, hence she helps young people to get into entrepreneurship using their natural gifts and skills.
“I love kids, so my foundation gives back to the community, and we focus more on orphanages as I love children and children who are from orphanages need to be shown love and support.”
Papa started the foundation and modelling career after she was inspired by her mother who is truly her biggest role model and support system. The pageant gave her a platform to use the competition to enhance herself emotionally, physically, and mentally as they attended more workshops that enhanced her abilities within her during the pageant.
The hardest challenge she had during the campaign, was having to raise funds of R1000. Despite that, she did it by opening a modelling school and charging a small fee than other modelling schools.
“ My academy is all about changing the narrative of beauty, I allow everyone regardless of their physical appearance if they have the capability and initiative to work hard for it.”
Mosa promises that her reign will be the most active and busy period, as she plans to use her organization as Miss GE to get the work done.
“My aim is to change the schools in Gauteng, we go there with an aim and focus but I use the platform to tackle other social problems with the help of professional people, I have helped 60% of learners who suffered from mental health and other things, and I aim to reach a larger number.”
