In a recent Post, Zoleka Mandela posted on her social media reflecting on how she beat cancer for the second time. Zoleka posted a long message as she was looking back on the day being grateful, happy to be alive, and preparing to deliver her sixth child.

The star is a two-time breast cancer survivor. She received a Facebook reminder of 10 years ago when she shared a post on her devastating cancer diagnosis.
Mandela revealed that she was diagnosed with cancer for the first time in March 2012 when was 32 years old and she had surgically removed both her breast.

“I had a Bilateral Mastectomy (removal of both my breast and breast tissue with immediate reconstruction, performed by Dr.Slabbert – tissue expanders were then inserted and replaced with breast implants soon after.”
“I had refused treatment for the Cancer for 3 months – I had given up, lost faith, and wanted to die. I was lucky, privileged, and remain blessed to this day, I have my son, Zwelani to thank for saving my life.”
She shared in a recent post a screenshot she took, shared it once more, and is grateful she has lived to tell the tale.
Thanking Facebook for the reminder “Today marks exactly 10 years since my first breast cancer diagnosis.”
Zoleka has been open about her struggle, journey, and victory against the disease.
She has beaten cancer twice, after being diagnosed for the first time in 2012 it returned in2016. Below are some of the comments from her fans:
