It has been confirmed by popular media and news personality, Phill Mphela, that the radio personality is set to feature a new GBV documentary – series alongside Andile Gaelesiwe.
Titled “MTV Shuga: What makes a Man”. It is centered on the theme of tackling the subject of GBV as a collective societal issue, the show will feature artists such as BIG Zulu and Uncle Vinny and is set to air on MTV Base on March 1st at 21:30.
GBV is one of the biggest issues in the country, which would mean that such programs would be welcomed with much appreciation, however, according to many, not when it features the likes of Bujy.
The Zimbabwean-born, Sithembinkosi Junior Bikwa is a South African radio host, television presenter, and producer who found himself caught up in a storm after a violent dispute between himself and South African media personality and rapper Boity Thulo. He is said to have physically assaulted Thulo which resulted in him being sued for R 1 million by the Bakae hitmaker.
Below is a clip of the violent incident between Boity and Bujy, while out at a restaurant with friends.
Warning: footage contains strong language. Not for sensitive viewers!
After news of Bujy’s appointment made the scene, many tweeps have taken to social media in dispute. Arguing that appointing someone who was involved in a Gender Based Violence incident does not serve to aid the plight of GBV in the country in South Africa as this sends the wrong message.
To everyone rightfully upset about Bujy getting a show after what he did to Boity, just a reminder that the power lies in your hands. Simply choose to not watch anything he's in! We are the consumers, we hold the power. #Boity #Bujy #GBV

I said this before
The industry is ran by the LGBTQ mafia
Somizi is going back to idols and now Bujy is hosting a show about GBV after he just knocked the lights out of Boity
Being part of the LGBTQ means you can get away with anything pic.twitter.com/s2NvJ71fa9
