JOHANNESBURG – Molemo Katleho Maarohaye professionally known as Jub Jub recently found himself in a heap of trouble after appearing in an interview with controversial broadcaster Mac G and speaking on his relationship with songstress Kelly Khumalo.
The TV personality visited the popular ‘Podcast and chill’ and revealed that he had previously been intimately involved with TV personality and actress Amanda Du Pont, before sharing more information about singer Kelly Khumalo (whom he shares a son with) including how she allegedly uses muthi. He also alluded to the idea of being tempted by her while in a relationship with Amanda.
Jub Jub saw his attempt to get candid backfiring, as Du Pont came out with an earth-shattering allegation of how she had been in a toxic relationship and been raped by him for two years. She went on to express her support for Kelly Khumalo in a video posted on her IG story.
Maarohaye has since been in the firing line, currently facing a whirlwind of civil action. He has taken steps in filing a lawsuit for defamation against Du Pont and others who had spoken out against him.
The controversial Uyajola 9/9 presenter is also at risk of being axed from his role and has been given an ultimatum by his boss Aubrey Tau – apologise to Kelly for calling her a “witch” or find his employment terminated.
” His ill-advised comments have reached the highest level of decision-makers in this industry. He needs to apologise to Ms. Kelly Khumalo and three different organisations for the hurtful comments. He should also undergo sensitivity training”, said Moja Love CEO: Aubrey Tau.
Jub Jub has recently taken to his social media to publicly apologise in a statement addressed at Kelly Khumalo and social media had this to say;
