Mzansi woke up to sad news of actor Mutodi Neshehe’s passing. His untimely death shocked the entire nation. Many knew the actor who was popular for his role on SABC 2 Soapie Muvhango. The news about his passing was announced last night.

A statement from his family was issued confirming that the actor Mutodi passed away on the 1st of July. The family has asked for privacy to mourn their loved one during this difficult time that they are facing.
They disclosed that more information regarding the Mutodi’s passing will be communicated soon. The statement read:
“With great sadness, we announce the passing of Mutodi Neshehe on July 1 2021. He was our brother, uncle, father, mentor, role model and actor. He will be sorely missed by his family and close friends.”

Mutodi Neshehe was born to actress Thelma Neshehe and business Joseph Neshehe in Soweto. In his early teens, he was sent to the United States to continue studying.
In 2004 he returned to South Africa and joined Jacob’s cross, Skwizas, Egoli and Muvhango. The T.V star also joined Generations where he was in Polyadry with Karabo Moroka( Connie Ferguson) and Tau Mogale( Rapulana Seiphemo). Tributes continue to pour in for the former actor on social media.
