Mapuolo’s titles include student leader, trade unionist, youth activist, and community leader to name a few. However, many were astonished by his decision to join the opposition party, following the comments he made during the burial of his mother where Mapuolo was heard saying he would die in the ANC and rubbished any claims of ever joining the Economic Freedom Fighters.
The EFF has described this as a historical moment in politics and represents a daunting statement of confidence in the party, its future, and the impact it has on its people.
