The Orlando Pirates team has requested that people keep their player Paseko Mako in their prayers as he sustained a serious injury during the game between Orlando Pirates and Baroka FC.
The Buccaneers defender sustained a serious injury in what seemed to be an ahead collision when he collided with goalkeeper Richard Ofori resulting in his head hitting the ground.
Fans were forced to watch in horror as the Orlando Pirates right back laid motionless on the pitch, while they were scrambling to get a medic which took longer to respond.

According to the co-mentor, players were not in the right mind frame and were uncomfortable playing the final minutes after seeing Mako on the ground.
“You know, they weren’t in the right frame of mind to see their teammate lying down. They were not in the right frame of mind to continue and try to push for the win.
Mako has since been rushed to the hospital. The 28-year-old lost consciousness while his teammates and Baroka FC team hid him from cameras as they waited for medical assistance.
He was later rushed off to a nearby medical center on Tuesday evening and Orlando Pirates have confirmed that Paseko suffered a fracture to his face and nose and will remain in high care for further assessment.
Orlando Pirates head coach Fadlu Davids has confirmed that the player is in a stable condition as he left the Peter Mokaba Stadium, and the club has now revealed that there was no sign of damage to the skull.
“The doctor has revealed that CT scan results have shown no signs of skull fracture or any brain hemorrhage; however, the player has sustained a fracture to the face and nose, ” read the club statement.
He will remain in High Care and will be assessed by the neurosurgeon again this morning”, said the coach
