Both Cassper Nyovest and Naak Music go into the fight feeling confident and are expected to bring out their A-game. During their face-off press conference at The Venue Green Park in Sandton, Cassper did not hold back and said he would knock out his opponent.
“I shared a little prayer saying I hope I don’t hurt him too much so that we shake it out, and it’s a good moment in history”, Cassper said.
Fellow celebrities have expressed their excitement on social media, with King Monada going as far as betting and putting his Mansion on the line.

The Siyathandana hitmaker has been sharing his training session videos on social media, while his opponent has been surprisingly quiet on his social media platforms. Naakmusiq has been at the helm of public ridicule but he revealed that he has been quiet for a reason.
“Cassper is comfortable, he knows what he’s doing, and he’s been doing it for quite some time so we can figure it was a great thing.
Let us work behind the scenes, create a monster and reveal it on the fight of the night,” said Naakmusiq.
“For me to prepare for this fight I cut off everything. Some people are mad at me because I haven’t spoken to them a lot. But I was committed to preparing for the fight.”
Many fans were disappointed when the R 9000 tickets were sold out in just a few hours, however, they had recently been made available, thanks to the latest COVID 19 regulation which allows for a 50% capacity at the venue.
The celebrity boxing exhibition is set to take place in Sun City from 8-11 April with the actual fight taking place on Saturday 9 April at the Sun City Superbowl.
